Specht made minimal changes to the existing structure, allowing its original character to shine through. The new hotel structures, while distinct in their architectural expression, seamlessly blend with the hall and other industrial buildings in the area.

The hotel's design is characterized by its simplicity and directness. The concrete structural frame is complemented by infill walls made of clay masonry blocks and recycled oil-drilling pipe. The design team included The Mighty Union for interior design, Pharis Design for landscape architecture, LAND for graphic design, and DPR as the contractor.
